PARALLEL CIRCUIT
Materials
unipolar wire, one 4.5 V battery, three 4.5 V bulbs, one
switch, some wire terminals, a plywood base
- WHAT IT IS: It is a circuit where a number of users
are connected in parallel on the same system. The connected users are
crossed by the same tension which is the voltage of the system. each
user works independently from the others connected in parallel on the
system The parallel circuit is made up of three bulbs powered by the
same source.
The circuit in parallel is a circuit formed by 3 bulbs which take the
energy power from the source.
HOW IT WAS MADE: we have connected one extremity of the thread of the
switch and we have made some connections at T with the bulbs so that
the circuit is never interrupted. After that we have connected the 2
extremities of the thread to the battery.
WHAT DOES IT SHOWS ?: If, for whatever
reason you disconnect one of the bulbs, the others will stay lit, like
in your home electric system.
