ELEMENTARY CIRCUIT

What is it?

It is a set of conductive bodies through which electric current flows

It is made of: a generator (G), that is a power source which causes the electrons to move, some conductive wires for connection, a switch (T), one or more user apparatus, called "load", which transforms electric energy into a different kind of energy (thermal, mechanical, etc.). It can be a lamp, a heater, an engine.

What is it for? The elementary circuit shows that a set of batteries can lit a bulb of the same voltage.

How is it made? To build an elementary circuit you need: one flat 4.5 V battery, one 4.5 V bulb, one lamp holder, one switch, salvage electric wire, two alligator clips, one smal wooden base (30x15 cm.)
