Per prima cosa è stato disegnato un toro, solido che si ottiene da un cerchio che ruota attorno ad un asse.

Immaginate cioè di distorcere un cilindro attorno ad una circonferenza in modo tale che le basi coincidano.

Sucessivamente il toro viene copiato più volte e ruotato sempre nello stesso senso e con la stessa angolazione.

Ogni toro è stato sezionato a metà orizzontalmente lungo il suo diametro ottenendo per ogni toro una sezione circolare.

Ad ognuno è stato assegnato un materiale differente come "Acqua","Legno","Marmo",ecc...

1. We designed a torus: this shape is built by a circle that rotates on an axis; otherwise you can imagine to twist a cylinder so that the bases coincide.
2. Then the torus was copied many times, always in the same way and the same angle.
3. Every torus was cut so that we could see a circle section.
4. Every torus was designed with different materials: marble, wood...
