The life and the job of the scientist

Lazzaro Spallanzani was born in Scandiano (in the province of Reggio Emilia) the 12/01/1729. Adolescent was destined by the father to the jurisprudence studies; ninth this study didn't like him, its marks were excellent. He begun professor of philosophy and literature in 1754, obtains in the 1760 the chair of physics and mathematics near the college St. Charles in Modena. In 1770 he went to the university of Pavia, where he made very important scientific discoveries.
In that year he undertook the study of the ' Animaletti' in the infusions, writing, five later years an important text.

At fifty years old, he enjoied reputation and international honor, he begun e member of the Berlin Academy with Frederick the Great,he received from Joseph the IIth (emperor of Austria) a gold medal, but especially all physiologists of every country considered him like a master of their discipline. In the 1796 it came it offered by the superintendent of French Army of Italy, the natural history chair to "Jardens des Plantes" of Paris, that Spallanzani refused with the excuse of the advanced age.
Howevere he continued him studies of physiology of the livings until the last one.
